Kool Racing Products has been manufacturing air cleaner housing for Winston Cup, Craftsman Super Trucks, South West tour, and Winston West racing series since 1997. Kool Racing air cleaner housings have been proven on restrictor plate tracks and tracks throughout the USA. The Kool Racing housings are spun aluminum and are offered with a ram air induction or open back for cool air intakes. With the different racing classes continuing to change, different bases are also offered for hood clearance challenges. Currently Kool Racing is pursuing California Air Resource Board approval for street applications. This means a significant gain in power, performance, and fuel economy from the RV market, to the street enthusiast. Air housings are offered as complete rounds and must be assembled.

Kool Racing Products in combination with the Wix Filtration Company has put together an economical and efficient filter system that has proven to flow and out perform other filters in the performance industry. The "new" air filter media is constructed from a patented synthetic media produced by the Wix Filtration Company and has been incorporated into the needs of Kool Racing Products. The new-patented synthetic media has proven to reduce cylinder wear substantially while gaining outstanding flow characteristics compared to other media's. Kool Racing Products continues to lead the industry in air induction management (an area of HP and torque gains), which until recently has remained unexplored.

Kool Racing Products has developed a performance induction tube far superior than other induction tubes. The HP, torque gains, and tune-ability make these induction tubes the needed edge for victory. Most "World of Outlaw" teams run these tubes, and for a reason, they work. Engine builders across the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand see the 15 to 35 Horse Power gains and are able to tune the torque curve to fit the HP cure, gaining an additional 25 to 35 ft lbs. of torque. Engine builders enjoy the ease in gaining these numbers, and so do the competitors of all fuel injected racing venues. The champions can testify to this fact.
